Rafael Benitez guided his side to an emphatic victory over group rivals Nordsjaelland at Stamford Bridge, but still saw his side crash out of Europe after Juventus held firm in Ukraine.
A David Luiz penalty, two goals from goal-shy striker Fernando Torres and goals from Gary Cahill, Juan Mata and Oscar put the match beyond doubt.

Joshua John struck for Nordsjaelland just after half-time to make the tie 2-1, but the hosts soon pulled away.

Benitez and Co needed Shakhtar to beat Juventus at the Donbass Arena, but Juve spoiled Chelsea's party when Olexandr Kucher put the ball in his own net, handing the visitors a win.
