and explosives rode into Sandiya village on Thursday in all-terrain
vehicles and on motorbikes.
Cell connection was cut by the military, thus the news about the tragedy
came only on Saturday, when the villagers arrived.
Reports of similar attacks in neighbouring Yobe state could not be
confirmed immediately.
The area was tense on Sunday with increased military checkpoints and
patrols.
