Ejor, on Monday said that 22 players had been invited to camp in
preparation for the third edition of the Copa Lagos International Beach
Soccer.
The competition is slated for Dec. 13 to 15 at the Eko Atlantic Beach in Lagos.
Ejor told the News Agency of Nigeria
that the camp would hold between Nov. 27 and Dec. 10 in Abuja.
According to him, the delayed camping which ought to have commenced in
September, will not affect the performance of the Sand Eagles in the
competition.
He said, “We were unable to invite
players to camp early due to logistic reasons. Inviting the players to
camp at this time, will not affect the team’s performance.”
The coach noted that the third edition of the competition would be more competitive than the previous editions.
“The competition will be very tough this year. We will put in our best to ensure that we retain our title, this year.”
Nigeria won the two editions of the
competition held since it started in 2011. The four countries that would
participate in the invitational tournament are Lebanon, Germany,
Senegal and Nigeria.

countdown to the 2013 edition continues.
